UFCU Plaza
This was the most recent large assignment I have been given. I love photographing plazas, as they offer some of the best architecture and variety in settings.
The building manager accompanied for most of the shoot, which was a real help. Staging photos can be tedious, but having an extra hand makes the whole process go twice as fast.
The first thing I think of when entering a new room is the composition. I tend to look at the big picture, and walk to and fro until I find the perfect angle and framing. Because of this, I sometimes miss small details like a chair in the frame or small object that shouldn’t be on a desk. Having someone else there with me to notice these things was a reminder that I should always be extra careful about small details as I am usually so focused on composition.
